Eunseo Jang joined Freedom Speakers International in early 2015 as an English language student and public speaker. Since mid-2019, she has been an office assistant at Freedom Speakers International. She joined FSI’s North Korean Refugee Keynote Speakers Network when it was formed in late 2020.
She was born in the coal mining village of Aoji, located in Hoeryong City of North Hamgyong Province. She lived in North Korea for 21 years. Her second home is South Korea, a country with liberal democracy. She officially became a South Korean citizen in June 2012 and has two children.
She graduated from Sechon High School in North Korea in 2008. She is working towards a BS in Social Work at Seoul Cyber University.
From 2014 to 2015, she worked at Paidion Missionary Association translating the children’s bible from South Korean to the North Korean language for North Koreans.
